Status: Afterthought. Strong validation authority — guests who already know the hotel confirm it through the models. But weak discovery optimization — when a traveler asks “best luxury hotel in Amsterdam,” this property doesn’t surface for initial consideration.
Tobago Villas Pilot
Client: Independent boutique villa resort
Location: Tobago, Caribbean
A small-footprint independent resort with loyal repeat guests and no parent brand — measured against 60 traveler queries across four AI platforms.
GEO Visibility Score: 47.1 / 100
Status: Considered option. Trust is built — the property validates well when named. Discovery is the bottleneck. When a traveler asks about Tobago villas, this property is in the consideration set but not leading it.
Providence Boutique Pilot
Client: Independent boutique hotel
Location: Providence, Rhode Island
A downtown Providence boutique hotel with strong neighborhood positioning and mixed review sentiment — measured against 60 traveler queries across four AI platforms.
GEO Visibility Score: 44.1 / 100
Status: Considered option. Two problems, not one: structural indexing gaps on ChatGPT and reputation sentiment issues affecting the language models use to describe the property. A dual-path intervention was required.
